AGSA 2011-2012 Winter Clinics
In order to prepare for the upcoming softball season, AGSA provides
winter clinics for members of the 2011 and 2012 Travel Teams, the 2011
Fall Teams, and those planning on participating in the winter 2012 Travel
Team Tryouts. These sessions focus on developing individual skills and
situational knowledge experienced in the field. Below is the schedule for
the 2011-2012 Winter Clinics.
Winter Clinics Fees:
$75 - for general participants
$25 -for pitching and catching open gym (5:00 pm-6:00 pm)
ALL WINTER CLINIC FEES ARE DUE BY 12:00 PM, DECEMBER 9, 2011.
Times:
Pitching Clinic: 5:00- 6:00 pm *
Regular Clinic: 6:00- 8:00 pm
*AGSA will be providing a 1-hour pitching clinic for girls who are currently
pitchers/catchers or have an interest in becoming pitchers/catchers. Each
pitcher is required to bring a parent/guardian or designated catcher WITH
FULL PROTECTIVE GEAR to catch for them during the pitching session.
Catchers will not be provided. Pitchers and catchers may use this hour to
practice pitching technique every Friday at their discretion. Pitchers are
allowed to bring their personal pitching coaches to the clinics.

About Sarah
Interested in pitching? Already an advanced pitcher and desire extra pitching instruction? This winter, AGSA is pleased to announce the Sarah Dryden Pitching Clinic. Pitching lessons will take place on Fridays from 5:00 PM- 6:00 PM. Pitchers of all levels (beginning to advanced) are encouraged to attend. Clinics will focus on basic mechanics, speed, power, pitching variety, and individual goals. Participants will be limited to 10 players. You will be notified if the pitching clinic is full. However, given enough interest, a separate clinic may be scheduled.
Pitchers are expected to bring a parent/guardian or catcher with full protective gear to catch for them. Catchers may be arranged at $15 per session, and ONLY IF GIVEN 48 HOURS NOTICE TO THE CLINICS DIRECTOR.
Pitching Clinic Fees:
$100 for 8-10 sessions
(those who register for the Sarah Dryden Pitching Clinic need not pay the above open gym fee)
