General Tournament Information
Entries will be accepted
on a first come basis
Rules: 5 game guarantee
(weather permitting) with pool play on Friday / Saturday
and tourney play on Sunday. ASA rules will apply and
all teams must be ASA registered. If weather should
shorten play, head-to-head results and runs allowed
will be criteria for determining brackets for tourney
play and awarding prizes. Medals awarded for 1st,
2nd, 3rd and winner of playback
bracket.
Fees: The $425 fee includes
both the tourney fee ($250) as well as the gate fee
($175). No spectators will be charged a fee for attending.
Unlike most touneys that collect a gate fee on entry,
we have eliminated that with payment of the flat gate
fee. With a typical gate fee of $5 per day per person,
if both parents attend, the cost for a weekend would
be $20. For a 12 player roster, this amounts to $240
per team, more if exended family members attend. By
charging a flat rate, we encourage all extended family
members as well as friends to attend, whether they watch
just one game or all the games.
